Zap2it.com)- Chris Penn, the actor known for both his roles in movies such as "All the Right Moves," "Footloose" and "Reservoir Dogs" and his run in with the law for driving while intoxicated was found dead in a Santa Monica, Calif. condominium, on Tuesday (Jan. 24) afternoon.
His body was discovered after someone alerted police who gave his age as 40, although other sources have it as 43. There were no sounds of foul play and an autoposy will determine the exact cause of death.
In addition to his film career, most recently Penn has been appearing on show's like The WB's "Everwood" and HBO's "Entourage." He was one of the three male leads in CBS' short-lived David E. Kelley drama "The Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire."
Penn's father Leo was a noted television director until his death in 1998. He's survived by his brothers, actor Sean and musician Michael and his mother, actress Eileen Ryan.
